About the Role

Seeking a senior Windows Infrastructure Engineer with strong Windows Server, SQL, VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS, networking fundamentals, and PowerShell automation experience. Must have enterprise infrastructure delivery experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work across infrastructure, application, and architecture teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support enterprise Windows infrastructure solutions.
• Deploy and maintain infrastructure across VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.
• Develop automation solutions using PowerShell and other scripting technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure projects and technical solutions.
• Create technical documentation, implementation plans, and operational support materials.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, operating system, virtualization, and cloud issues.
• Participate in project delivery activities, including off-hours implementations when required.
• Manage multiple priorities while working effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Windows Server administration and enterprise infrastructure platforms.
• Current experience supporting Windows, SQL, and cloud-based environments.
• Experience with automation and script development (PowerShell preferred).
• Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Oracle VM (OVM), Azure, and AWS.
• In-depth understanding of networking fundamentals, including:

TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, OpenSSL, BIND, Sendmail

• Experience designing and supporting highly available and resilient infrastructure solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with a professional approach to complex technical challenges.
• Ability to prioritize and execute effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience supporting containerized or cloud-native platforms.
• Microsoft Azure, AWS, VMware, or related certifications.
• Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $85,470 - $111,000.
