Provide technical leadership across multiple development initiatives and client workstreams
Conduct code reviews and establish coding standards, quality controls, and development best practices
Guide solution architecture and design discussions for cloud-based applications
Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate business goals into practical technical solutions
Collaborate with architects, developers, project leadership, and client stakeholders to improve delivery quality and consistency
Evaluate application architectures and recommend improvements for scalability, maintainability, performance, and cost effectiveness
Mentor development teams and provide hands-on technical guidance when needed
Support AI-enabled solution initiatives and help teams integrate emerging technologies appropriately within enterprise architectures
Participate in technical planning, estimation, risk identification, and solution governance
Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

8+ years of software engineering experience
3+ years leading development teams or serving in a technical lead capacity
Experience leading enterprise application development initiatives
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle practices
Experience performing formal code reviews and establishing development standards
Demonstrated ability to work directly with business stakeholders and senior technology leaders
Strong consulting, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience working within Agile delivery environments
AWS services and cloud-native architecture
Serverless technologies and API integration
Cloud security, governance, and cost awareness
Application modernization initiatives
Working knowledge of AWS-based development patterns
Enterprise application architecture
Object-oriented design and development
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Testing, quality engineering, and code quality
Development team leadership and mentoring

Exposure to generative AI or AI-enabled software solutions
Experience evaluating AI architectures for performance, scalability, and cost
Knowledge of cloud-based data processing and document automation solutions
Experience working within regulated industries such as insurance or financial services
