Responsibilities

Develop performant, scalable features with React/TypeScript and Python/FastAPI
Ensure clean, type-safe code and robust system architecture
Bring features from whiteboard to pull request
Define the technical path with an experienced team
Set binding timelines and communicate risks
Proactively ask for or propose specifications
Reduce complexity and integrate into existing architectures
Focus on maintainable, extensible solutions
Quickly learn new technologies like Three.js or Mapbox
Use AI agents for research and knowledge deepening
Communicate complex trade-offs understandably
Actively participate in peer reviews
Leverage modern AI coding tools like Claude Code and Copilot
Offload standard boilerplate and test writing to AI

Requirements

4+ years of full-time web development experience (frontend or backend)
2+ years of full-stack development experience
Fluent in TypeScript and Python (or a comparable second backend language)
Experience in agile teams
Proficient with Git and CI
Familiarity with various database types, especially SQL-based like PostgreSQL
Solid understanding of modern web technologies, IT security, cryptography, and distributed systems
Work independently with a clear opinion
Negotiation-level English proficiency
Valid work permit in Germany

Preferred

German language skills are a strong plus
