3+ years of experience building scalable ETL or ELT pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics or Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
3+ years of experience with Azure services like Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, Azure Key Vault, ADLS Gen2, or Azure Databricks
Experience building resilient ingestion pipelines from multiple sources (REST APIs, Databases, event streams, SaaS)
Experience with data modeling
Experience designing and implementing Lakehouse architectures in Synapse and Azure Databricks
Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to data engineering standards
Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools like Azure Monitor or Dynatrace

Experience with Python, SQL (T-SQL, Spark SQL), and PySpark
Experience with UNIX or Linux and Shell scripting
Experience with Microsoft Azure Government cloud
Experience writing data quality checks for large data sets
Experience with pipeline monitoring, observability, real-time data, and streaming applications
