Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain software applications
Deploy and manage applications for scalability and reliability
Participate in agile workflows including sprint planning and stand-ups
Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
Conduct peer code reviews

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
10+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency in PHP and Laravel
Experience with MySQL
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and testing frameworks
Test-driven development mindset and experience writing tests
Familiarity with agile methodologies

Preferred

Knowledge of the health industry or interest in genetics and bioinformatics
Experience implementing solutions in the cloud, AWS preferred
Experience designing and working with JSON-based RESTful APIs
At least 2-hour overlap with US and EU business hours
