Break down larger projects into individual tasks and deliver them in multiple phases
Collaborate with product management, design & analytics
Support operations and availability of team's artifacts by creating and monitoring metrics
Escalate issues when needed and support 'keep the lights on' & on-call efforts

1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer
Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems
Proficient in Python or Kotlin
Familiar with the building blocks of distributed systems
Experience with AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes
Experience designing, developing and launching APIs at scale using Python or Kotlin
Mastered taking a simple problem or business scenario into a solution that interacts with multiple software components
Executing on solutions by writing clear, easily understood, well tested and extensible code
Comfortable navigating a large code base, debugging others' code, and providing feedback through code reviews
Demonstrates ownership of growth, proactively seeking feedback
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
