Build and maintain Databricks environments across dev, test, and production
Configure and optimize Databricks workspaces, clusters, and job orchestration
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
Develop automation for platform provisioning, monitoring, scaling, and maintenance
Support CI/CD pipelines for Databricks notebooks, workflows, and deployments
Monitor platform health, performance, security, and cost optimization
Implement RBAC, encryption, audit logging, and governance controls
Troubleshoot platform issues, cluster performance concerns, and workload failures
Support integration with cloud services, data warehouses, and streaming platforms
Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and cloud infrastructure teams

Databricks Certified Associate or Platform Administrator certification
Experience with Unity Catalog administration and data governance
Knowledge of CI/CD automation and DevOps best practices
Experience with Kafka, AWS Kinesis, Azure Event Hubs, or streaming technologies
Familiarity with Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or enterprise data warehouse platforms
Experience optimizing Databricks clusters for performance and cost efficiency
Federal cloud certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or AWS Solutions Architect
Prior experience supporting federal agencies and Public Trust environments
