Responsibilities
- Design tests
- Automate tests
- Analyze results
- Design test scenarios
- Choose appropriate test solutions
- Ensure repeatable testing of application components
- Extend testing practices into AI service validation
- Perform LLM output testing
- Assure agentic workflow quality
- Work within a Scrum Squad
- Follow and maintain QA best practices
- Refine Stories and Acceptance Criteria
- Develop C# Integration Tests
- Develop React tests in Playwright
- Develop Contract Tests (Pact)
- Develop UI Functional Tests in C# with Playwright
- Identify high-level test strategies and quality risks
- Identify risks unique to AI/ML systems
- Monitor and report on quality trends
- Leverage AI tooling to accelerate test authoring and analysis
- Analyze automation test run results
- Adhere to coding standards and practices
- Participate in code review culture
- Attend squad meetings
- Participate in presentations and code workshops
Requirements
- 5+ years in a Quality Assurance role
- 3+ years C# .Net/Net Core
- TypeScript knowledge
- API Integration Test experience
- Functional UI Test experience with Playwright
- Excellent testing fundamentals
- Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Understanding of S.O.L.I.D principles
- Experience with Scrum
- Experience in an agile environment
- Understanding of CI/CD processes
- Demonstrated use of AI tools in day-to-day engineering work
- Familiarity with AI-assisted tooling and testing AI/LLM features
Preferred
- Experience testing AI services or LLM-powered features in a production environment
- Familiarity with AI agent frameworks (e.g. AutoGen, LangChain, Semantic Kernel)
- Understanding of agentic system behaviours
- Awareness of non-deterministic testing strategies
- Playwright, React exposure
- Experience working on an existing production SaaS platform
- Azure familiarity
- Exposure to Micro-frontends and Microservices
- Confidence with git and branching
