Windows & Linux System Administrator

Key Responsibilities

Identity & Access (Core Focus)

• Administer and support Entra ID (Azure AD) users, groups, roles, and access assignments.
• Manage user lifecycle operations (joiner, mover, leaver) within Microsoft 365.
• Support and troubleshoot Conditional Access, MFA enforcement, and identity-related access issues.
• Investigate sign-in failures, risk events, and access inconsistencies using Entra ID logs and reports.
• Maintain secure access patterns following least-privilege and security baseline requirements.

Endpoint Management (Intune / MDM)

• Manage Intune-enrolled Windows devices, including:
• Compliance policies
• Configuration profiles
• Application deployment
• Support Entra ID–joined devices and understand how device state impacts Conditional Access.
• Troubleshoot device compliance and enrollment issues affecting user access.
• Assist with policy cleanup and rationalization to reduce configuration drift and user friction.

Automation & Scripting

• Automate identity and endpoint operations using PowerShell.
• Develop scripts for:
• Bulk user updates (attributes, licenses, group membership)
• Reporting on inactive users or stale devices
• Safe, repeatable administrative tasks with logging and error handling
• Ensure scripts are idempotent, auditable, and safe to re-run.

Operational Support

• Actively troubleshoot and resolve access, authentication, and device-related incidents.
• Support Microsoft 365 services from an administrator/operator perspective.
• Follow defined security baselines, access controls, and change management practices.
• Document procedures, runbooks, and common troubleshooting paths.

Collaboration

• Work closely with the IT Infrastructure Manager, CyberSecurity engineers, and studio teams.
• Communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders when access or policy changes impact workflows.

Work Environment & Expectations

• Supports production-critical identity and endpoint services in a dynamic studio environment.
• Must be comfortable handling multiple priorities and interruptions.
• May be required to support after-hours changes or incident response during critical periods.

Required Qualifications

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience administering Entra ID-only Microsoft environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (job role is in a multi-cultural environment)
• Strong operational knowledge of:
• Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Microsoft Intune / MDM
• Conditional Access & MFA
• Microsoft 365 user and license management
• Practical PowerShell scripting experience for automation and bulk operations.
• Experience troubleshooting real-world identity and device compliance issues.
• Solid understanding of:
• Identity-based access control
• Device compliance and access evaluation
• Basic networking fundamentals (DNS resolution, authentication flows, VPN impact)
