Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality and reliability of software products by executing well-defined testing processes, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with development teams to enhance product performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases based on software requirements and design documents.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and user acceptance testing as part of Agile development cycles.
• Report, track, and verify defects using appropriate tools (e.g., Jira, HP ALM).
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Prepare test documentation including test plans, test scripts, and test summary reports.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings and contribute to continuous process improvement.
• Utilize automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman for API testing) to enhance testing efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle, particularly for critical business applications.
• Adapt to working night shifts with effective communication and time management skills.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.
• Proven expertise in both manual and automated testing techniques.
• Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, HP ALM, etc.).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (Selenium, JMeter, Postman) is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, particularly for collaboration during off-hours shifts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in API testing and backend validations.
• Exposure to performance/load testing tools.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Adaptability to night shifts and flexible working hours.

Salary Package

₱28,000 to ₱42,000 per month
