We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Structural Inspector to join our site supervision team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will oversee structural work on construction sites, ensuring compliance with building codes, safety standards, and project specifications. As a key member of our team, you will conduct thorough inspections, identify potential issues, and maintain comprehensive documentation to support project quality and safety objectives. Your analytical expertise and professional demeanor will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of structural integrity and regulatory compliance.

  • Conduct detailed structural inspections of building components, materials, and construction methods to verify compliance with approved plans, specifications, and UAE regulatory requirements
  • Monitor construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and established quality standards
  • Analyze structural elements and construction techniques, identifying deficiencies or deviations and recommending corrective actions to project stakeholders
  • Prepare comprehensive inspection reports documenting findings, observations, and recommendations with clear, transparent communication
  • Coordinate collaboratively with project managers, contractors, and engineering teams to address inspection findings and resolve construction issues efficiently
  • Verify quality of materials and workmanship, ensuring all work meets established standards and project requirements
  • Maintain organized records of all inspections, test results, and compliance documentation using digital systems and construction management software
  • Communicate inspection results and recommendations clearly to site personnel and project management, demonstrating professional decision-making authority
  • Perform site walkthroughs and progress assessments to track construction advancement and identify potential risks proactively
  • Ensure all site activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations specific to the UAE
  • Support team members and contractors by providing guidance on compliance requirements and best practices
  • Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in structural inspection and site supervision
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and UAE regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in analyzing structural systems, materials, and construction methodologies
  • Excellent documentation and report-writing skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple inspection activities simultaneously
  • Sound understanding of safety protocols and quality assurance procedures
  • Previous experience working on construction projects in the UAE
  • Preferred: Knowledge of structural engineering principles and building materials
