Full-Stack Software Engineer

Role overview

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer at Sitewire, you will build and ship mission-critical platform capabilities for construction lenders. Working in a hands-on IC capacity, you'll scope features, maintain alignment across web and mobile platforms, and help migrate a legacy monolith to a modern TypeScript/React stack while serving over a third of the nation's top private lenders.

Responsibilities

• Scope, develop, and ship new product features end-to-end using TypeScript, React, and React Native to ensure seamless functionality across both web and mobile experiences.
• Manage the complete application lifecycle, including rigorous automated testing, release management, and proactive performance monitoring to maintain high system reliability and engineering velocity.
• Help migrate core services from a legacy Ruby on Rails monolith to a modern architecture while writing clean, maintainable code that keeps the codebase healthy as the team scales.

Experience and qualifications

• Brings roughly 7 years of professional experience with deep mastery of React and solid backend engineering skills in modern typed languages such as TypeScript.
• Has a proven track record of shipping and maintaining production-grade application code in fast-paced environments where they successfully managed ambiguity and took high initiative.
• Exhibits a customer-first mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively within a fully remote team during the core collaboration window of 11am-3pm Mountain Time.
