The Role

Our client is looking to recruit an individual to support to customers and the sales force for technical matters with a strong mechanical bias. The role requires understanding the competition offering in the market including SWOT analysis. Commercial and market awareness of the company's product offering. Supporting sales growth by training and proactive promotion of existing and new products

Key Responsibilities

Support for customer questions via phone, e-mail & EPICS

Process requests for special products and variations

Analyse, check and report writing on customer product returns

Product management including training, new product introduction and supersession of discontinued product ranges

New Product Development Proposal activity

Market and competitor product analysis & understanding

Skills, Experience and Education

HNC or HND Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

English Language GCSE or equivalent qualification

Hands-on testing and diagnostic experience

Experience handling multiple projects with ability to prioritise, manage own time, and meet deadlines

Ability to clearly and effectively present technical subjects, face-to-face and via webinar
