3–5 years of professional software engineering experience
Java-based microservices architecture
Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and Spring Boot
Proficiency in frameworks like React, React Native, Next.js, and Node.js
Experience with SQL, including writing and optimizing queries
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (S3, Lambda, etc.)
Working knowledge of containerization using Docker
Experience with container orchestration with Kubernetes
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as New Relic, Splunk, or similar
Experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)
Experience with testing best practices
Familiarity with event-driven architecture
Familiarity with Kafka
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Attention to operational reliability
Demonstrated ability to work independently and own features end-to-end
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, store operations, and supply chain stakeholders
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent)
Previous experience in retail supply chain, inventory management, warehouse management systems, or outbound logistics
Familiarity with store operations systems and back-of-house workflows
Experience mentoring junior engineers
