Fraud Analyst

Deliver actionable insights that continuously improve fraud prevention capabilities and operational efficiency.

• Analyze large-scale datasets to detect fraud patterns, anomalies, and emerging fraudulent behaviors.
• Investigate complex fraud cases and conduct root cause analysis to uncover underlying issues.
• Build dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to monitor fraud trends and measure business impact.
• Design and evaluate fraud detection rules and models using performance metrics such as Precision, Recall, F1-score, and ROC-AUC.
• Conduct A/B tests and analytical experiments to assess the effectiveness of fraud prevention initiatives.
• Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for stakeholders and business teams.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Service teams to implement scalable fraud prevention solutions.
• Monitor evolving fraud techniques and proactively recommend new detection and prevention strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, MBA, or another quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Fraud Analytics, Risk Analytics, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with Python and data analysis libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
• Solid understanding of statistics, hypothesis testing, experimental design, and analytical methodologies.
• Familiarity with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and pattern recognition skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Strong business acumen with an understanding of fraud prevention and risk management concepts.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
• High level of ownership, accountability, and ability to independently drive initiatives.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility and adaptability.
