Develop scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
Build performant user-facing applications with React and Next.js
Design extensible system architectures balancing performance, security, and maintainability
Own full lifecycle delivery of complex features from planning to post-release observability
Ensure high availability and observability of services
Improve alerting, logging, and incident response across the stack
Set and uphold engineering standards via code reviews and technical mentorship
Partner with product, design, and stakeholders to align engineering with business goals
Lead technical design reviews and system decomposition efforts
Identify risks and gaps in operational or architectural resilience
Collaborate across engineering to reduce knowledge silos through cross-training
Participate in on-call rotations and lead post-incident reviews

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
8–12 years of software engineering experience
Deep expertise in backend systems including Node.js and PostgreSQL
Experience with modern front-end frameworks including React and TypeScript
Proven track record of architecting and delivering scalable systems in production
Experience mentoring engineers and raising technical standards
Strong systems thinking with ability to evaluate scalability, reliability, and maintainability tradeoffs
Experience designing for observability including logs, alerts, dashboards, and runbooks
Ability to operate in ambiguity and drive clarity across stakeholders

Familiarity with regulated domains such as healthcare or fintech
Experience with high-availability infrastructure
Experience with containerized cloud environments including Docker, AWS ECS, and AWS EKS
Experience with CI/CD automation and infrastructure as code
Exposure to event-driven architecture or microservices with asynchronous workflows
Prior experience with Google Workspace, Slack, Confluence, Jira, and Zoom
