Job Summary
The Senior Analyst Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) plays a key leadership role in managing and optimizing the end-to-end product lifecycle at Tyson Foods. This position applies advanced scientific knowledge and a deep understanding of food industry processes, regulatory requirements, and data systems to ensure the successful development and compliance of safe, high-quality food products. Success in this position requires strong independent judgment, strategic thinking, and expertise in systems administration, network principles, cybersecurity, and troubleshooting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead System Collaboration: Partner with IT and technical teams to ensure PLM systems and solutions meet evolving business requirements and user needs. Proactively troubleshoot system, software, and application issues, and escalate critical concerns to appropriate decision-makers when needed. Serve as a key liaison across R&D, Operations, Regulatory, and Marketing to align PLM systems with product development goals.
- Process Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for PLM systems, workflows, and procedures to ensure consistent execution and knowledge sharing. Train team members and business stakeholders on system use and best practices while mentoring junior analysts and supporting their development.
- Workflow Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities to automate repeatable tasks and streamline PLM processes across functional teams.
- Data Governance & Compliance: Oversee product data accuracy and integrity to support regulatory, operational, and food safety compliance.
- Technical Guidance: Provide strategic input and support for system architecture, data governance standards, and integration with other platforms and tools.
- Reporting & Communication: Provide timely status updates and business insights through reports and dashboards to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Business or a related field of study, or equivalent work experience, is required.
Work Experience
- 2+ years of relevant and practical work experience is required with a Bachelor’s degree. Otherwise, 4+ years of relevant and practical work experience is required.
Special/Technical Skills
- Data Analysis and Management: Experience in planning, developing, and administering data systems for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of regulatory requirements related to labeling and nutrition.
- Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies and tools to coordinate efforts across different teams.
- Strong PC Skills: Microsoft Office 365 applications, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software, data visualization tools (Power BI) and other web-based discipline specific systems and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel).

- 0-2+ Trips Per Year
