Key Responsibilities

Build Workflows

Create process models that route tasks to the right person or system.

Design Screens

Use SAIL (Self-Assembling Interface Layer) to build drag-and-drop web and mobile forms. SAIL is Appian's tool that builds screens automatically based on your rules.

Connect Systems

Link the Appian app to other software using REST APIs (rules that allow two apps to talk to each other).

Manage Data

Write SQL (Structured Query Language) to create, read, and update databases. SQL is a programming language used to talk to databases.

Skill Requirements

Appian SAIL & Process Modeling

Solid experience building Appian records, reports, and sites.

Database Knowledge

Ability to use SQL or Oracle to manage data.

Integration Skills

Understanding of JSON, REST, and SOAP web services.

Problem Solving

Ability to test apps, fix bugs, and make them run faster.

Soft Skills

Good communication to work with business leaders and technical teams

Experience

• Looking for 5+ years of software development experience specifically in Appian platform and ecosystem.

Certifications

Appian credentials like the Appian Certified Associate Developer or Appian Certified Senior Developer is preferred.
