Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, document, and maintain application software components
  • Develop software to support analysis and reporting on public safety data
  • Perform coding and unit test development
  • Develop automated tests and diagnose software failures
  • Assist in reviewing user documentation for correctness
  • Participate in design and development discussions within an agile/scrum team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
  • 5+ years of applicable software development experience
  • Proficiency in C# and SQL/T-SQL
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or ETL platforms
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI for report development
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Experience with React
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience with Java
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure environment
  • Experience with Windows command line and PowerShell
  • Experience in data warehousing and data analytics
  • Experience in database design and administration
  • Experience developing web-based applications
  • Experience debugging applications and identifying root causes of defects

Preferred

  • Experience with software deployment in Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with configuration management
  • Experience with end-to-end test automation
