Engineer with having SQL database knowledge and willing to work as SQL DBA and flexible to work in shifts.

• Building and configuring new SQL database servers / environments. Calculating and establishing optimum values for database parameters
• Monitoring & troubleshooting the SQL job, installation and configuration of SQL Server, ensuring database availability etc.
• Automation of SQL jobs, basic SQL troubleshooting, granting security rights for various group and individuals.
• Critical and advanced configurations like Disaster Recovery Planning mechanisms – Clustering, Log shipping, Mirroring and Replication.
• Performing Database backup and recovery and monitoring the backup processes through SQL jobs
• Monitor database performance, identifying problems and suggesting improvements.
• Basic troubleshooting for cluster nodes, Log shipping and SQL agents.
• Creation of new jobs / alerts / schedule
• Planning for Disaster Management and failover to other nodes
