Responsibilities
- Build and improve tooling, services, and automation for production reliability
- Develop shared observability capabilities for metrics, logs, traces, and service health
- Improve incident response and operational readiness through tooling and automation
- Build resiliency capabilities to identify failure modes and reduce operational risk
- Replace manual operational toil with durable software and automation
- Use AI as an integrated part of software development and operational problem solving
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering, SRE, or related discipline
- Strong software development skills in Python, Go, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Experience designing, building, testing, and operating production software or infrastructure
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, observability, or monitoring
- Experience participating in on-call or incident response for production systems
- Demonstrated ability to deliver well-scoped engineering projects and navigate ambiguity
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools across the software engineering lifecycle
Preferred
- Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, infrastructure as code, and cloud native environments
- Experience building internal reliability, observability, incident management, or automation tools
- Experience with observability platforms such as Datadog, Sumo Logic, or CloudWatch
- Experience with reliability practices like SLOs, capacity planning, resiliency testing, or disaster recovery
- Experience operating distributed applications with complex dependencies and high availability
- Experience building AI-enabled operational workflows or automation beyond code generation
