Information Architecture

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for entry of Bill of Materials (BOM) information into a Netsuite inventory application for purposes of starting up a new Standard Cost System for AG1.
  • Lead the design and development of custom applications, integrations, and middleware.
  • Provide technical direction for enterprise-level architectures, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Oversee the implementation of solutions using modern cloud platforms and development frameworks.
  • Review code, architecture designs, and technical documentation to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices to guide team decisions.
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm’s respectful and courteous work environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum ten years of recent experience in software development, with at least five years in a technical leadership or architecture role.
  • Deep expertise in the Microsoft technology stack, including .NET Core/Framework, C#, and related software development frameworks, with a focus on designing scalable and secure enterprise applications.
  • Extensive experience in both relational (SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cosmos DB) databases, including data modeling, query optimization, and database performance tuning.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services including Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, Azure Active Directory, Azure API Management, and others, as well as deploying and managing Azure infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, and YAML.
  • Expertise in APIs and system integrations, utilizing RESTful services, SOAP, and modern API management platforms, with a strong understanding of middleware for facilitating communication between disparate systems.
  • Strong hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React, for building responsive and high-performing Single Page Applications.
  • Possess some integration specific skills with Netsuite, that would be most appealing, especially in the inventory related module.
  • Hands on experience with inputting info on to Netsuite system.
  • Proven ability to design and implement microservices architectures, including the decomposition of monolithic applications and ensuring loose coupling, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Strong background in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Docker for containerization, and infrastructure as code to automate deployments and manage environments efficiently.
