About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, modernize, and support critical applications within the Field Rewards technology portfolio. This role will be responsible for building scalable cloud-native solutions, developing microservices and user interfaces, automating operational processes, and driving application modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across full stack development, cloud technologies, container platforms, CI/CD automation, and modern software engineering practices.
What You'll do
- Develop and maintain web applications, APIs, and microservices using modern technologies.
- Modernize legacy applications and migrate solutions to cloud-native architectures.
- Design and implement batch processing, data integration, and automation solutions.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Containerize and deploy applications using Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
- Support production releases, troubleshooting, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business partners to deliver solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
What You'll bring to the Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks (React preferred).
- Experience developing backend services and APIs using Node.js.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native development.
- Experience with relational databases and data processing solutions.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in Agile teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience modernizing legacy applications.
- Familiarity with enterprise authentication and SSO solutions.
- Experience with production support and operational automation.
