Senior .NET Full Stack Developer

Location- Onsite NY/Hybrid/WFH

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior .NET Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in .NET/C# and modern JavaScript front-end technologies to design, develop, and support scalable, secure, and cloud-native enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Angular and/or React, Azure Cloud services including AKS and Azure Functions, and modern CI/CD and DevOps practices.

A strong preference will be given to candidates with an Identity and Access Management background, including hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML. The candidate should be comfortable working across the full application stack and collaborating with architects, product owners, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Application Development

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-scale applications using .NET, C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Develop scalable backend services, business logic, APIs, integrations, and microservices using modern .NET technologies.
• Build responsive, reusable, and high-performing front-end applications using Angular and React.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate applications with enterprise and third-party systems.
• Apply clean coding practices, SOLID principles, design patterns, and maintainable software architecture.
• Participate in application modernization and cloud-native development initiatives.
• Troubleshoot application issues across front-end, backend, API, database, and cloud environments.

Identity & Security

• Design and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML.
• Integrate enterprise applications with Identity Providers and authentication platforms.
• Implement token-based authentication, JWT, claims, roles, permissions, and authorization policies.
• Develop secure APIs and ensure appropriate authentication and authorization controls.
• Collaborate with security and architecture teams to implement enterprise security standards.
• Identify and address application security vulnerabilities and follow secure coding practices.

Azure Cloud Development

• Design, develop, deploy, and support cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and deploy containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Build serverless solutions and event-driven components using Azure Functions.
• Implement scalable, resilient, and highly available application architectures.
• Support cloud deployments, troubleshooting, monitoring, performance optimization, and production operations.
• Leverage appropriate Azure services to improve scalability, reliability, and application performance.

CI/CD & DevOps

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Work with GitLab CI/CD and develop reusable pipeline templates where applicable.
• Integrate automated unit, integration, API, and UI testing into deployment pipelines.
• Implement DevOps automation to improve deployment consistency and release velocity.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to support containerized deployments and cloud environments.
• Implement quality gates, code analysis, security scanning, and automated validation within CI/CD workflows.

Front-End Development

• Develop modern, responsive user interfaces using Angular, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Build reusable UI components and integrate them with backend APIs.
• Implement client-side validation, error handling, state management, and performance optimization.
• Ensure applications meet usability, accessibility, security, and performance standards.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to translate designs and business requirements into high-quality applications.

Software Quality & Testing

• Develop clean, testable, and maintainable code with appropriate unit and integration tests.
• Participate in automated testing and ensure adequate test coverage for new functionality.
• Troubleshoot defects and perform root-cause analysis across application layers.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Support regression testing, production validation, and release readiness activities.

Agile Delivery

• Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
• Analyze technical requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide development estimates and contribute to sprint planning and delivery commitments.
• Proactively identify technical risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Take ownership of assigned features and ensure delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with .NET / .NET Core / modern .NET and C#.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Angular and/or React.
• Strong experience developing REST APIs and web services.
• Experience with enterprise application development and integration.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Experience with Azure Functions and serverless development.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps automation, Git, and GitLab.
• Experience with automated testing and continuous integration practices.
• Strong understanding of secure application development.

• Conduct peer and code reviews to ensure quality, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Identify opportunities to improve application architecture, automation, performance, and developer productivity.
• Collaborate with architects and technical leads on cloud-native solution design.
• Support production issues and participate in root-cause analysis and problem resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement across development, testing, deployment, and operational processes.

• Significant professional experience in .NET Full Stack development.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale applications using .NET and JavaScript technologies.
• Demonstrated experience with Azure Cloud, AKS, and Azure Functions.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Identity and authentication experience with OAuth, OIDC, and SAML is highly preferred.
