Responsibilities

  • Execute advanced UI/UX design tasks
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and information architecture
  • Produce high fidelity designs using Figma
  • Contribute to design system components
  • Translate designs into HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript
  • Implement page structures, components, and interactions
  • Ensure cross browser compatibility
  • Conduct usability testing and analyze site performance metrics
  • Gather requirements and refine deliverables
  • Implement tagging, tracking, and measurement configurations
  • Stay current on emerging UI/UX trends and front end development best practices
  • Recommend new approaches to enhance digital experiences
  • Complete additional initiatives/projects
  • Lead tasks or workstreams within broader initiatives
  • Provide guidance to less experienced designers or developers

Requirements

  • Accredited four (4) year Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in UI/UX design, front-end development, digital media, or web experience creation
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Figma experience
  • Proficient with prototyping tools
  • Proficient with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript
  • Proficient with responsive frameworks
  • Proficient with component-based design
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress or HubSpot
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio, etc.)
  • Strong capabilities in UI/UX design, prototyping, and interaction design
  • Advanced proficiency in modern front-end development languages and tools
  • Solid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG / Section 508)
  • Solid understanding of inclusive design principles
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Able to explain design decisions
