About the job Automations Manager

Company Description

Our client is a North American agency that supports tech-focused businesses by providing scalable offshore sales and marketing solutions. They help teams generate leads, optimize campaigns, and drive revenue growth without the operational overhead of building large in-house teams.

About the role

We are looking for an Automations Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of AI-driven automations across internal departments such as HR, finance, operations, and marketing. This role blends technical leadership with hands-on development, requiring you to design, build, and deliver automation solutions while managing and growing a team of AI automation specialists embedded across functions.

This is a delivery-focused role suited for someone with strong software engineering experience, advanced Python skills, and proven experience managing development projects end-to-end. The ideal candidate excels at identifying operational pain points, prioritizing high-impact automation opportunities, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring reliable, scalable, and maintainable automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a team of AI automation specialists, each embedded with a specific internal department (HR, finance, operations, marketing, etc.).
  • Own the roadmap: conduct ranked choice analysis of automation targets, prioritize by impact, and drive execution across parallel projects.
  • Execute hands-on as an individual contributor — designing, building, and shipping AI automations yourself.
  • Manage project lifecycles end-to-end: planning, resourcing, sprint cadence, stakeholder updates, and delivery.
  • Hire and grow the team, expanding capacity to cover all internal departments over time.
  • Partner with internal department leads to identify pain points and translate them into automation opportunities.
  • Run regular meetings with direct reports, cross-functional partners, and leadership to report on progress and unblock work.
  • Ensure automation quality, reliability, and maintainability across all shipped work.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience in software engineering.
  • Hands-on development experience building AI automations (Python workflows, n8n workflows, or equivalent).
  • Hands-on project management experience - must have previously managed development projects.
  • Experience working in a software engineering environment.
  • Advanced coding skills with a strong working knowledge of Python.
  • Strong understanding of database schemas.
  • Experience with at least one project management tool.
  • Front-end design, UI, or UX skills are preferred.
  • Experience building out or integrating internal team systems (ERPs, HRIS, etc.).
  • Experience with monday.com is preferred.
  • Degree in computer science or related field.

Employment Structure

  • Hybrid in Dhaka, Bangladesh | Full-time
  • Salary: BDT 1,20,000 - 1,40,000
  • Benefits: Sponsored lunches (3×/week) + bi-annual bonuses + competitive performance-based pay with expanding benefits + North American client exposure + a politics-free high-performance culture + leadership access + global best practices + strong growth + visible impact in a scaling Bangladesh team.
