Responsibilities

Perform requirements gathering, analysis, design, and Sprint planning
Develop containerized software for NASA/FAA air travel safety projects
Conduct V&V testing including smoke, performance, load, and regression testing
Manage database operations and software deployment cycles
Utilize AI tools to generate Python code
Develop and maintain software and scripts in Java, Python, and Bash
Create and maintain application containers using Docker
Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior staff
Serve as primary contact for customers on assigned projects
Formulate software architecture plans to support project demos

Requirements

Minimum 8 years of professional experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Computer Engineering
Experience developing code with Java, Python, and Bash
Experience using AI tools for code development
Experience with Docker and Linux environments
Ability to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Proven organizational and communication skills

Preferred

Ability to work on-site in Mountain View, California
Experience supporting aeronautics or national air space research projects
AWS experience
Proven performance as a remote, virtual contributor
Experience leading small teams administratively and technically
