Responsibilities
- Build, test, and deploy applications powered by large language models
- Review system performance (API errors, latency, output quality)
- Refine and test system prompts to improve accuracy and reduce hallucinations
- Integrate LLMs (GPT-4, Claude) with internal databases using RAG frameworks
- Build data processing pipelines with Python, embeddings, and vector databases
- Fine-tune models and train open-source models on domain-specific data
- Run safety, bias, and edge-case evaluations with automated testing tools
- Optimize token usage and API costs for cloud infrastructure
- Deploy code updates to production using CI/CD pipelines
- Align AI features with user needs alongside product managers and engineers
Requirements
- 10+ years of technology experience delivering scalable digital products
- Experience designing and delivering AI-enabled applications in production
- Experience building multi-agent architectures with planner, executor, reviewer patterns
- Experience developing tool-calling and memory-enabled agents
- Use LangChain or LangGraph for orchestration and workflow design
- Apply DSPy and prompt engineering for quality and repeatability
- Production-grade AI service development in Python
- Integrate with Anthropic, OpenAI, and open-source models
- Design RAG solutions using vector databases
- Implement observability, evaluation, and performance monitoring for AI systems
- Manage governance, security, privacy, and compliance requirements
