Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Snowflake Data Cloud solutions
  • Build and optimize data ingestion pipelines
  • Develop database architectures and data warehouses
  • Ensure optimal data delivery architecture across customer projects
  • Lead technical teams
  • Mentor junior engineers in best practices
  • Prepare reports and present to internal and customer stakeholders
  • Hire, develop and manage a technical team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
  • 5+ years in technical roles, data management, database development, ETL, data warehouses and pipelines
  • Expertise in evaluating, selecting, and integrating ingestion technologies
  • Experience designing and developing data warehouses (Teradata, Oracle Exadata, Netezza, SQL Server, Spark)
  • Experience building ETL / ELT ingestion pipelines with DataStage, Informatica, Matillion
  • Proficiency in SQL scripting
  • Cloud experience on AWS
  • Proficiency in Python and Scala
  • Advanced Snowflake Platform knowledge including data sharing and security
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable cloud architectures for data and AI applications
