Job Summary

Riseup Labs is seeking skilled and motivated Cloud Engineers / DevOps Engineers to support the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of cloud infrastructure and deployment environments. The selected resources will work with AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and other modern DevOps tools to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
• Manage Kubernetes platforms (EKS/GKE) and containerized applications using Docker.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Build, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployment.
• Administer core cloud services, including networking, storage, security, and IAM.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, security, and cost efficiency.
• Support deployments across Dev, SIT, UAT, and Production environments.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Job Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, EKS, ALB/NLB, Route 53, and CloudWatch.
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and Helm.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins.
• Strong Linux administration and Shell scripting skills.
• Experience working with Ansible, Packer, and Git.
• Good understanding of networking, cloud security, monitoring, and logging.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology, SDLC, and DevOps best practices.
• Exposure to Java application deployment using Maven/Gradle will be considered an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• AWS, GCP, or Kubernetes certification will be considered an advantage.
