Must-Have

Experience with CI/CD Pipelines

Proficiency in developing and managing continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Pivotal Concourse, or similar.

Cloud Infrastructure Knowledge

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and understanding of Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings.

Containerization

Strong experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.

Programming Skills

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, Scala, or PL/SQL.

Agile Practices

Familiarity with SCRUM/Agile development practices and ability to work in an agile team environment.

Good-to-Have

Automated Testing

Experience with technologies that support automated testing.

Pipeline as Code

Knowledge of Pipeline as Code techniques using Groovy and declarative pipeline syntax.

Functional Programming

Awareness of functional programming and new technologies such as Scala, Akka, Camel, and messaging frameworks like Kafka, Active MQ, and EMS.

Mentoring Skills

Ability to coach and mentor junior engineers.

Communication Skills

Strong communication skills to document design options and decisions, and present them to both technical and non-technical audiences.
