Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications
- Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
- Develop and execute unit tests
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Participate in Agile ceremonies
- Contribute to system documentation
- Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance activities
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools
- Integrate AI capabilities into applications
- Utilize AI-driven tools to enhance testing
- Apply prompt engineering and structured AI usage
- Evaluate and recommend AI tools, frameworks, or services
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong proficiency in .NET Framework and/or .NET Core
- Strong proficiency in ASP.NET MVC
- Strong proficiency in C#
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript
- Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS
- Strong proficiency in MS SQL Server development
- Experience with debugging, unit testing, and delivering production-quality code
- Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Understanding of secure coding practices
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Preferred
- Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications (e.g., OpenAI APIs, Azure AI services, or similar frameworks)
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and tooling
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Azure services (App Services, Key Vault, Application Insights)
- Experience with Windows Server environments
- Familiarity with VA systems or federal healthcare environments
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices and infrastructure-as-code
