Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications
  • Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces
  • Develop and maintain backend services and APIs
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
  • Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
  • Develop and execute unit tests
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies
  • Contribute to system documentation
  • Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance activities
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools
  • Integrate AI capabilities into applications
  • Utilize AI-driven tools to enhance testing
  • Apply prompt engineering and structured AI usage
  • Evaluate and recommend AI tools, frameworks, or services

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong proficiency in .NET Framework and/or .NET Core
  • Strong proficiency in ASP.NET MVC
  • Strong proficiency in C#
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript
  • Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS
  • Strong proficiency in MS SQL Server development
  • Experience with debugging, unit testing, and delivering production-quality code
  • Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
  • Understanding of secure coding practices
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Preferred

  • Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications (e.g., OpenAI APIs, Azure AI services, or similar frameworks)
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and tooling
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Azure services (App Services, Key Vault, Application Insights)
  • Experience with Windows Server environments
  • Familiarity with VA systems or federal healthcare environments
  • Exposure to DevSecOps practices and infrastructure-as-code
