Duties and Responsibilities

• Advanced Analytics: Support stakeholders by applying advanced analytics, statistical modelling, and machine learning to drive business insights.
• Model Maintenance: Maintain and enhance statistical and machine learning models.
• Promote Analytics: Advocate for the adoption of advanced data science and analytics across the organization.
• Data Management Support: Leverage and support data management efforts.
• Mentorship: Mentor and develop junior Data Scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications and Skills Requirements

• Education: Post Graduate degree in: Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related quantitative field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in data science, with experience in building and implementing predictive models. Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and other scripting languages.
• Expertise in machine learning algorithms, including neural networks, boosting methods, clustering, and random forest models.
• Strong skills in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Advanced analytics and statistical modelling.
• Excellent communication and data storytelling skills.
• Critical and analytical thinking with the ability to explain insights in laymans terms.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
