Build and maintain front-end and back-end code for BTI’s website and other software
Interact with software developers, sales, administrative, warehouse, and purchasing staff
Plan, develop, and execute feature and product requests
Respond to incidents reported by customers, staff, and systems monitoring
Coordinate system and software upgrades
Investigate and resolve issues on the Ruby on Rails based website and other software
Advise computer users on effective use of software
Maintain code documentation
Apply company’s best practices and coding standards

Bachelor's degree in computer science OR related field OR an equivalent combination of education and related experience
At least 3+ years of working experience as a full-stack, Ruby on Rails developer
Ruby / Ruby on Rails
Modern Ruby on Rails front-end stack: Hotwire, Stimulus, Turbo
HTML, CSS, Javascript
Minitest testing framework
Bootstrap CSS framework
SQL (Microsoft SQL preferred)
Git version control system
