We are committed to creating an environment where every team member feels included, respected, empowered and recognised.

What You Can Expect

As a Test Senior Engineer II – Systems Integration you will be responsible for validating complex software systems that span mobile, web, API, and backend data platforms. This role focuses on end-to-end workflow validation across integrated systems, ensuring that authentication, APIs, database operations, and downstream services function correctly together. In this engineer role, you will design and execute test strategies that verify data flow, system interoperability, security controls, and backend service behavior in production-like environments. This role collaborates closely with developers, architects, DevOps, and product teams to identify integration risks and ensure reliable system behavior across distributed architectures. This position requires strong technical capabilities in API testing, database validation, authentication flows, and system integration testing in addition to traditional software quality engineering practices.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Design and execute end-to-end system integration test strategies across mobile, web, APIs, and backend services.
  • Validate API functionality, contracts, and error handling, including request/response structures, authentication mechanisms, and service dependencies.
  • Perform database validation and data integrity testing, including verification of data transformations, persistence, and cross-system synchronization.
  • Test authentication and authorization workflows including SSO, tokens, OAuth/JWT flows, and role-based access.
  • Validate data flow across integrated systems, including third-party integrations, messaging systems, analytics pipelines, and downstream services.
  • Develop and maintain automated API and backend test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Use tools such as Postman, REST clients, and automated frameworks to validate RESTful APIs and service endpoints.
  • Analyze application logs, database records, and API responses to identify root causes of defects.
  • Create comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test data covering system workflows and integration points.
  • Collaborate with development, architecture, DevOps, and product teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure system stability.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to quality practices across the SDLC.
  • Document test results, defects, risks, and validation evidence for regulatory and product quality reporting.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Strong experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, REST clients, or automated frameworks.
  • Strong experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries for database validation.
  • Understanding of authentication and security protocols such as OAuth, JWT, API keys, and SSO.
  • Experience validating distributed systems and microservice architectures.
  • Ability to test end-to-end workflows across multiple systems and services.
  • Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Python, Playwright, Selenium, or similar).
  • Ability to debug issues by analyzing logs, database states, and API responses.
  • Experience testing data pipelines, integrations, and service orchestration.
  • Experience working within Agile development environments.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or an engineering discipline with computer science experience required.
  • 5–7 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with strong experience in API, database, and system integration testing.
  • Experience testing cloud-based, distributed, or service-oriented architectures preferred.
