Responsibilities

  • Develop and support enterprise-level J2EE-based web applications
  • Migrate SOAP-based web services to REST services
  • Provide sizing and scalability recommendations
  • Solve connectivity and deployment issues
  • Deploy applications to enterprise application servers

Requirements

  • 8+ years of development experience in Java Web/Enterprise projects
  • Hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot
  • Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
  • Experience with Java EE and Maven
  • Experience with application servers including Jetty, Tomcat, JBoss, and Weblogic
  • Experience with Spring Security and SSO solutions
  • Experience with REST and SOAP web services
  • Experience with Oracle, MySQL, and DB2 databases
  • Experience with SQL, JDBC, and ORM tools
  • Understanding of design patterns
