Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Sr QA Engineer with 10+ years of experience in QA with insurance domain to join our team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, with a deep understanding of the insurance industry and its processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for insurance software applications
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate resolution of issues
• Perform regression testing and maintain test environments
• Conduct risk analysis and prioritize testing activities
• Continuously improve and optimize testing processes and procedures
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with at least 5 years in the insurance domain
• Strong knowledge of insurance industry processes and regulations
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products on time
• Relevant certifications in software testing and quality assurance will be an added advantage
