Take ownership of backend architecture and implementation across multiple products
Design, build, and maintain scalable production APIs and backend services
Build and operate high-performance distributed systems serving large user bases
Design backend systems with focus on scalability, fault tolerance, and reliability
Build and maintain data pipelines, background workers, and event-driven architectures
Build and maintain blockchain integrations and indexing systems for on-chain data
Design efficient database schemas and optimize complex queries
Work across Web2 and Web3 backend infrastructure
Diagnose and solve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and scaling challenges
Build systems with strong observability, monitoring, and alerting
Continuously improve backend architecture, deployment pipelines, and reliability

Extensive experience building and operating production backend systems
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern backend frameworks (NestJS, Fastify, Express)
Strong understanding of backend architecture, API design, and distributed systems
Proven track record building and operating backend systems at scale
Experience designing systems that operate reliably under high traffic
Deep expertise with PostgreSQL including schema design and query optimization
Experience building systems that process large amounts of structured or event-driven data
Strong understanding of observability, logging, and monitoring
Experience building backend systems for modern Web2 applications
Experience integrating with blockchain infrastructure, node APIs, or smart contracts
Hands-on experience with blockchain indexing systems (The Graph, Subsquid, or custom)
Good understanding of wallet architecture and transaction lifecycle
Experience building or integrating backend systems with DeFi protocols

Experience building backend services in Go
Experience with Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems
Experience deploying and operating services using Docker and modern CI/CD pipelines
Contributions to open-source backend, infrastructure, or blockchain tooling projects
Strong understanding of the DeFi ecosystem and hands-on familiarity with DEXs, lending protocols, staking, bridges
