About the role

As a Lead Full Stack Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and enhancing enterprise-scale digital applications that deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will be a valued member of the Digital Engineering team and work collaboratively with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and global delivery teams to build scalable, cloud-native solutions that support critical customer-facing platforms.

In this role, you will

Design, develop, and support enterprise web applications using Java, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Spring, J2EE, and modern JavaScript frameworks.

Build and integrate React-based components and interactive user experiences while enhancing platform performance, personalization, and scalability.

Develop and maintain cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, and S3.

Modernize and optimize digital applications through AEM migrations, component enhancements, and implementation of best practices for maintainability and performance.

Provide technical leadership, mentor onshore and offshore team members, and collaborate across teams to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver high-quality solutions.

What you need to have to be considered

Extensive experience with JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and modern front-end application development.

Strong experience supporting Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development and support.

Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, EJB, and J2EE enterprise application development.

Experience building and supporting cloud solutions using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, and Amazon S3.

Experience developing React.js-based web components and integrating them with enterprise content management platforms.

Knowledge of Sling Models, OSGi Services, Coral UI, and AEM component architecture.

Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues and lead technical initiatives across distributed teams.

These will help you stand out

Experience with AngularJS and enterprise portal applications.

Knowledge of AEM personalization and customer experience optimization.

Experience with Python, LangChain, Agentic AI, and Large Language Model (LLM) technologies.

Experience building AI-powered solutions for customer analytics, data summarization, and business insights.

Familiarity with telecommunications, customer support, or digital self-service platforms.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Note

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 to $141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
