.Net Developer with Healthcare (FHIR, HL7)

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based applications and APIs supporting healthcare interoperability
- Implement and manage FHIR R4/R5 resources for clinical and administrative data exchange
- Build and consume RESTful APIs for integration with EHRs and external healthcare systems
- Work with HL7 standards (FHIR, HL7 v2) and healthcare data formats (JSON, XML)
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, security, and data privacy requirements
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and support CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance
- Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and technical documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong experience in C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+, ASP.NET Web API
- Hands-on experience with FHIR implementations (R4 preferred)
- Solid understanding of FHIR resources (Patient, Encounter, Observation, Practitioner, Condition, etc.)
- Experience with RESTful services, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect
- Proficiency in SQL Server and/or NoSQL databases
- Experience with JSON, XML, and healthcare data transformations
- Familiarity with Azure / AWS cloud services
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps or similar tools
Healthcare Domain
- Understanding of US Healthcare workflows (Provider, Payer, Claims, Clinical data)
- Knowledge of EHR/Epic/Cerner integrations is a plus
- Experience with SMART on FHIR is preferred
