Job Summary
Transfers items from Technology Repair Facility to schools, district facilities and other locations as directed. Removes and processes parts from equipment; processes surplus and salvaged technology equipment for storage, reuse or disposal. Assists with inventory control.
What you will do
- Stages, loads and unloads, and transfers (pick-up and delivery) technology items (including, but not limited to laptop and desktop computers, printers, ancillary devices) between the Technology Repair facility and various schools and other locations through the District.
- Operates vehicles to transport items.
- Applies reasonable standards of care to prevent damage to items of technology equipment during storage or transit.
- Processes surplus and salvage items of technology for storage, reuse, or disposal. Removes and processes parts from surplus or salvage technology as directed.
- Assists in reconciling discrepancies in asset records (physical counts vs. reported items, physical location of items, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining a computerized inventory of all assets as required by state, federal and administrative regulations.
- Uses inventory software, creates delivery tickets and pulls technology items from stock in the warehouse or Technology Repair facility for staging and delivery.
- Receives signatures as proof of pick up and/or delivery from schools and other locations. Updates on-line inventory records to ensure asset locations are kept up to date.

- Experience on a technology team Preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to create and maintain harmonious working relationships with co-workers and staff in schools and district offices.
- Detail oriented, demonstrated skills in prioritizing time.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn inventory software applications.
Licenses and Certifications
- DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State

Starting At
$21.34
Salaries are determined by factors relevant to the position which may include education, experience, and other qualifications. Final compensation decisions are made at the discretion of MNPS in alignment with organizational policies and procedures. The stated salary range for certificated teaching positions is calculated based on 201 days and should be viewed as a reference. All provided salary ranges serve as a general guideline.
