We're looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Field IT Support professional to join our team in Norman, United States. In this role, you will provide comprehensive technical support to our end-users across multiple locations, troubleshooting hardware and software issues while maintaining a high level of customer service. You will be responsible for diagnosing problems, implementing solutions, and ensuring minimal downtime for our organization's operations.

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot computer systems, peripherals, and network connectivity problems using analytical and systematic approaches
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Document all support tickets accurately and completely, tracking issue resolution and maintaining organized records for future reference
  • Perform preventative maintenance and system updates to ensure optimal performance and security
  • Assist with user onboarding by setting up new equipment and providing technical orientation
  • Collaborate with the IT team to identify recurring issues and implement long-term solutions
  • Travel to various field locations as needed to provide on-site technical support
  • Maintain organized inventory of IT equipment and supplies
  • Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users, ensuring they understand solutions and preventative measures

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or field service roles
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze technical problems systematically
  • Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems
  • Knowledge of network connectivity, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN technologies
  • Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests efficiently
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to field location

Preferred Qualifications

  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent IT certification
  • Experience with mobile device management (MDM) platforms
  • Familiarity with remote access and support tools
  • Experience with IT asset management and inventory systems
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
