Our client is an IT services and solutions provider, primary engaged with Implementation and Maintenance of SAP and other business information systems, IT Infrastructure services, Information Security solutions, Business development and Project Management. They are working on projects around the world.

We are looking for a SRE.

Our client is seeking a passionate Site Reliability Engineer to support their SRE &Compliance Team, in the daily duties of operating a cloud native Elasticsearch deployment spread across the globe. The successful candidate will work within the SRE team focusing in proactively identifying and resolving service degradations and outages as well as providing root cause analysis to improve the service resilience. Furthermore, contributions towards their monitoring and code base are welcomed.

Their product functions as the primary data repository for logs, metrics and traces and thus acting as the fundamental layer for observability and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) applications throughout SAP. The stack is comprised around the Elastic stack, fully hosted on Kubernetes, deployed with a fingertip, and brought to life by a diverse group of passionate engineers.

What you bring

• Elasticsearch Engineer Certification;
• Deep Understanding of Linux, Network, REST-APIs and Containers;
• Experience with the infrastructure of code approach and config

management;

• Good skills in at least one general purpose programming language;
• Ability to speak and write English fluently;
• Willing to work differing work shifts/rotations and non-standard work

hours;

• Experience in working in global distributed teams;
