Collaborate with engineering leaders and product management to introduce architectural simplifications
Consolidate multiple technology stacks and disparate systems
Stay on track with latest technologies and apply knowledge to architecture and product features
Analyze current technology state and propose valued alternatives
Define and implement the architectural roadmap
Own key portions of the implementation
Explain status and value of proposed designs to stakeholders
Guide activities of development teams

Advanced programming skills for distributed storage and compute systems
Experience with Java, JavaScript, Angular, React, Python, Terraform, and Perl
Previous Lead experience
Experience mentoring team members
Expert level in distributed computing and storage
Expertise in http and native clients, DNS, load balancers, reverse proxies, CDNs, and application servers
Expertise in building streaming applications using pub sub systems and search technologies
Proficiency with ECS or other containerization technologies
Proficiency with Oracle, Mongo, and Document DB
Expertise in Chef, Jenkins, and Ansible
