Develop highly scalable, flexible and resilient software solutions
Partner to re-architect products for serverless containerized cloud frameworks
Increase developer productivity and improve solution delivery timeline
Ensure code quality, application security, accessibility, and 508 compliance
Conduct code reviews and provide improvement feedback
Onboard and train staff on development tools, process and standards
Support Business Development effort (e.g. respond to RFP technical requirements)
Support system design, develop and implement new templates
Maintain or modify existing templates
Understand system design and function
Develop templates per system design and coding standards
Perform unit testing
Analyze code to review errors
Participate in review sessions
Create and maintain artifacts
Communicate technical impact, root cause, and corrective actions
Perform gap analysis and impact of system software changes
Work on Proof of Concepts and new initiatives
Adhere to all corporate policies including HIPAA

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline
5+ years of software development experience
Knowledge of troubleshooting technical issues with standard or custom programs
Good Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC)
Experience with agile development methodologies
Expertise in Java application development
Experience working with legacy JDKs
Experience extending existing frameworks
Experience modernizing outdated code
Strong PL/SQL skills
Experience writing complex queries
Experience writing stored procedures
Experience with performance tuning
Experience with database schema design

Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
Hands-on experience with JIRA and similar bug tracking tools
Understanding MMIS systems for Medicare and Medicaid
A history of working with PHI/PII and high security environments
Ability to work well in teams
Highly organized with strong verbal and written communication skills
Adaptable to project and task changes
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Experience with the Healthcare domain
Good experience in a COTS products (such as COGNOS, CRM, IVR, Oracle E-Business)
Good experience in providing solutions to complex problems using customizations
Good working with single sign-on (SSO) integration for enterprise applications
Good experience understanding of integrating applications with identity and access management (IAM) tools
Good experience in identifying security issues with tools and resolving security vulnerabilities for web applications
Good experience in escalations with third-party vendors for resolutions
Good experience understanding of application security and architecture
Good experience configuring application code on-premise and cloud infrastructure (such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Oracle Cloud, IBM cloud)
