About the Role

You'll be the design voice on a tiny team inventing how millions collaborate with autonomous agents. From blank canvas to pixel-perfect launch, you own the craft.

This is not a support role. You'll sketch a concept at 9 AM, prototype in Figma by lunch, and user-test by dinner. You'll pair directly with researchers and engineers, fusing breakthrough models with world-class interaction design.

You'll focus on clarity, trust, and delight — ensuring every flow, animation, and interaction moves users from curiosity to reliance.

What You'll Do

Draw the future

Sketch a concept at 9 AM, prototype in Figma by lunch, user-test by dinner. Own the full arc from blank canvas to shipped product.

Make magic visible

Translate complex agent behavior — memory, intent, action history — into UI so intuitive it feels inevitable.

Craft end-to-end journeys

Map flows, wireframes, hi-fi mocks, and interactive prototypes that hide complexity behind elegance.

Champion the user

Run guerrilla tests, A/B experiments, and analytics reviews to turn pain into joy — fast.

Establish design systems, accessibility guidelines, and brand voice that every future hire will follow.

Sweat every millisecond

Animation, micro-copy, haptics — nothing ships until it delights.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years crafting digital products end-to-end, with a portfolio that marries beauty and usability
• Proven experience designing AI-powered or data-rich experiences
• Mastery of Figma and interactive prototyping tools
• Taste level that rejects awkward clicks, dead pixels, and inconsistent motion
• Love for in-person collaboration; ready to build in SF

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing agentic or autonomous AI interfaces
• Proficiency in Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent design tools
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for rapid prototyping
• Experience with motion design, haptics, or micro-interaction systems
• Track record of designing consumer products used by millions
