Production and ELS Engineer

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

In this role, you will support production activities, lead continuous improvement efforts, and manage ELS Project Leaders across the HCM and Hanoi distribution centers. Serving as a change agent and subject matter expert, you will drive operational excellence and foster continuous improvement within your business unit.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

• Manage & check working schedule and manage the leave, OT, T&A for operations staff
• Manage and monitor end-to-end processes of Non-Trade purchasing of OPS team: vendor sourcing, new vendor setup, PO, Contract Management, price negotiation, invoices and payment.
• Manage and monitor consumables, inventory of non-trade materials for OPS team
• Facilitate and support Kaizen events and support team members, and adjust training where needed.
• Build relationships with business leaders to understand business objectives and priorities and collaboratively develop supporting process improvement initiatives.
• Assists in selection of teams and individuals to work Enterprise Lean Sigma implementation opportunities.
• Drives company efficiency by converting analog processes into digital formats, leveraging technology to optimize workflows, improve customer journeys, and enhance productivity.
• Implement AI-driven solutions and automation tools to streamline repetitive operational admin tasks and optimize decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with ELS teams to deploy, manage, and train staff on digital applications and Lean manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Production Engineering and Process Improvements
• Certified Yellow or Green Belt
• Proven leadership skills (lead, motivation, process and people management skills).
• Successful and effective communicator.
• Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives; hands-on experience or strong interest in leveraging AI tools and Lean tools (e.g. automation flows, Google AI tool, , data analytics tools, Lean manufacturing) for productivity enhancement.
