Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with expertise in Demand Forecasting, predictive analytics, and machine learning to develop scalable forecasting models that improve supply chain planning, inventory optimization, and business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in time-series forecasting, statistical modeling, and production-grade ML solutions.
Required Experience
7+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics
3+ years of hands-on experience in Demand Forecasting or Supply Chain Analytics
Experience building enterprise-scale forecasting models for retail, manufacturing, CPG, healthcare, or eCommerce
Experience deploying ML models into production environments

Responsibilities
Design and implement demand forecasting models for short-, medium-, and long-term planning.
Analyze historical sales, seasonality, promotions, pricing, and external factors affecting demand.
Develop machine learning models to improve forecast accuracy.
Build scalable forecasting pipelines and automate model retraining.
Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Product teams to support planning decisions.
Monitor model performance and continuously improve forecasting accuracy.
Perform statistical analysis, feature engineering, and model validation.
Create dashboards and communicate forecasting insights to business stakeholders.
Deploy and maintain production-ready ML models.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or related field
Experience with MLOps pipelines
Knowledge of inventory optimization and supply chain planning
Experience with Spark or Databricks is a plus
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
