This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Data Analyst Associate based in the United States.
This is an associate-level analytics role supporting data collection, reporting, and analysis for a government program focused on participant care and placement.
You will help transform operational data into meaningful insights, reporting products, dashboards, and briefing materials.
The role combines data analysis, visualization, reporting automation, database work, and stakeholder collaboration.
You will work alongside domain experts, analysts, contractors, and government stakeholders to improve how program data is collected and understood.
Your analysis will help identify performance outcomes, support forecasting, and provide leadership with clear information for decision-making.
The position offers exposure to modern analytics tools and technologies, including SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and relational databases.
This is a fully remote opportunity with potential future on-site work in Washington, DC, offering meaningful impact within a mission-driven environment.
Accountabilities
- Collaborate with domain experts and data analysts to develop accurate, useful reporting products aligned with program requirements.
- Prototype data products, assess feasibility, and conduct analysis to determine effective approaches to business and program needs.
- Build data connections, develop reports, and publish analytics products across development and production environments.
- Develop automated reporting solutions, dashboards, visualizations, and briefing materials that communicate findings clearly.
- Support data collection, analysis, visualization, data modeling, database creation, and related technical activities.
- Perform statistical and high-level data analysis using appropriate analytics platforms and methodologies.
- Prepare written summaries, presentations, and other briefing products that translate analytical findings into actionable insights for agency leadership.
- Work with contractor and federal stakeholders to improve the collection, quality, and analysis of program data.
- Assist with identifying meaningful performance outcomes, indicators, trends, and measures of program effectiveness.
- Support forecasting, quantitative analysis, and modeling activities as required.
- Help train contractor and field staff on data collection, reporting, and analysis tools and processes.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and analytical support in response to evolving program needs.
- Create and maintain documentation for data products, reporting processes, analyses, and technical solutions.
- Support data engineering activities involving data cleaning, processing, transformation, and ETL workflows when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, computer science, mathematics, or another related field, plus at least 1 year of relevant professional experience.
- Working knowledge of data visualization platforms, particularly Tableau.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Familiarity with scripting and analytical programming languages such as Python and/or R.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret data, identify meaningful patterns, and communicate analytical findings clearly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create presentations and explain results to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with analysts, subject matter experts, contractors, government stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and quality in a remote working environment.
- Experience working with immigrants, refugees, or underserved populations is preferred.
- Additional experience in one or more of the following areas is highly valued: statistical analysis and modeling, natural language processing, quantitative or qualitative data analysis, data engineering, large-scale datasets, data cleaning and ETL.
- Familiarity with Palantir, data entry processes, or additional data visualization and analytics tools is a plus.
- An existing Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
- The role is remote, with potential future work at a government facility in Washington, DC.

- Salary range: $61,402–$80,500, with final compensation determined based on experience, geographic location, and applicable contractual requirements.
