Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing database reports, visualizations, and dashboards, as well as creating automation for repeating database tasks. Additionally, the candidate will need to have knowledge of various database servers such as MSSQL, MySQL, and Postgres, and possess the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot database errors. The candidate should be able to recommend and implement emerging database technologies, and have a basic understanding of AWS technologies such as EC2, RDS, and DMS.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain the performance of database servers.
  • Develop processes for optimizing database security.
  • Set and maintain database standards.
  • Manage database access.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
  • Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
  • Create automation for repeating database tasks.
  • Be available for on-call support as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5 - 7 years of experience in Database Administration.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Technology or related field of study.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Good command of English, with the ability to communicate with foreign partners and colleagues.
  • Positive, customer-service minded, with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Eager to learn new technologies.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and able to take the initiative.
